Girls 7th Grade Soccer 4/13

Stafford Spartans 7th grade girls’ soccer team won Tuesday against Roach Middle School. Late in the first half, Skye Sivess scored the first goal of the game off of an assist from Paige Scott. With a 1 – 0 lead at halftime, the Spartans came out strong and extended their lead to 2 – 0, off a free kick from Alexis Olivares. After Roach cut the score to 2 – 1, the Spartan defense, led by Marissa Martinez and Sonia Valadez, held tough to close out the game victoriously.
